I have a customer that has been bypassing the Generic/Text printer
driver and printing directly to a barcode printer in order to prevent
Control / Escape chars from being stripped. This always has worked
fine up until Windows XP. What has changed in XP, and does anyone have
an idea of what we can do to fix this? Would a custom printer driver
be the answer, and if so where to start? Any help would be
appreciated.
