Hi,
I have XP home running on my pc.It has been installed for awhile now
without and problems .Today when i booted up it displayed a box asking me to
activate .
I clicked on yes and the activation window opened and said that my copy of
windows was already activated.I shutdown and restarted again only to find
the box popped up again. What a freakin bunch of nonsence . how can i get rid
of this and keep it gone.
There should be much more competition in the software business so Msoft
would have to lighten up or be OUT.

If the wpa.dbl and wpa.bak become corrupted, they can cause a problem.
Reboot in "Safe Mode".
Rename the wpa.dbl and wpa.bak files located in the\Windows\system32 folder
Now the message should be removed and you can now reactivate.

Try repairing the registry entries used by the activition .DLL files:

Use Start- Run and enter the following text in the dialog box:
regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll

Then do it again with the following text:
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll

Good luck
