Hi.
Running XP home. Last two days have been getting a balloon message come up
saying that a USB device has malfuctioned or not working correctly. How do i
find out what device is causing this? Everything seems to be OK, ie printer,
scanner, and all my other hardware.
Cheers in advance.

Hi

What happens if you unplug all devices and then reboot after plugging
each one in, one at a time?

Read the 'Help' file?
Call the manufacturer?

I only have one USB device, a printer. I have disconnected and message still
comes up. Is it possible the message which says "a USB device" is really
meaning any device, USB or not?

Scanner is not USB??????????
