XP Password

I installed XP Home on my duaghter's computer over 98SE and arrived at the welcome screen asking for a password for user (my daughter) and for guest. I wasn't prompted for passwords during installation. Is there a default password or a way to get through the system welcome screen to XP

Mike;
There is no default password.
If a password is required, a password was initially entered during
setup.
Try leaving the password blank.

why can't you guys do a little homework up front before you start
somethin'.......glad you didn't pull this at work...your boss would be
really impressed with your organization (lack of) skills....
oh, there is no password, just hit enter...
