I am just asking if there is an upgrade I can purchase to
convert my XP home edition operating system THAT IS IN
SPANISH, into English as I do not speak or read a lot of
Spanish, I have the doom bug etc & need to dispose of also
but I think the first step would be converting the system
into English if posible

Can any one help???????

Best regards,

Russell

Hi Russell,

There is no way to change the OS to another language, you will need to
purchase the English edition of XP.

Greetings --

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS
to another, so you'll have to purchase and use the full version of
English WinXP to perform a clean installation.

Cannot Upgrade or Install a Different Language Version of Windows XP

First of all, please unstick your CapsLock key. Posting in all
caps, as you have done, is the Usenet equivalent of shouting, and is
considered very rude. More importantly, posting in all caps makes the
post very hard to read, further reducing your chances of getting help.

No. You will have to do a clean install of the English version, all your
data will be lost, so backup first.
