I have installed XP Home ed. on a brand new harddisk but
can't boot from HD only from CD-ROM. Bios 1st Boot device
HDD-0, 2nd Boot d. Floppy. 3rd Boot d. CDROM. and
removing XP-CDROM results in:
"Boot from CD : DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND
PRESS ENTER"
Any other choise of boot seq. results with the same error
when the XP installation disk is removed.

Would be happy for any hint to overcome this problem.

this could also be a BIOS problem. I was tryin to boot
my CD-Rom first in the BIOS, and it was giving me that
message.
