When you install XP on a laptop, normally, it detects it
as a laptop and install everything correctly
(batteries/power management/ect.) but since I reformatted
and repartitionned my Hard Drive. WINxp keeps installing
as a normal PC. I don't havea anything about my battery
(that is working perfectly) and nothing in the power
options about "what do u want to do when you close the
lid" and other things like that and also, keep saying I'm
plugged even when using the battery. Please help!!!!

Laptop computers require specialized hardware drivers only
the laptop manufacturer can provide. Visit the support
website of the manufacturer of your laptop computer, download
and install all the available Windows XP compatible drivers.

THis isn't the problem, it's when I install XP, not
after. the second and third time I installed it,
everything was alright, it detected the laptop as one.
put the battery options/meter and other stuffs. But now,
I can't get it to install correctly.
