XP on Compaq Laptop

I've installed a XP Home on a friends Compaqu Presario 1660 laptop, and
apparently id doesn't deal with the monitor/videocard very well at all.
It's such a bad/blurry image, compared to the 98SE install previous. Are
there updated drivers or a workaround? Any help appreciated...

Check on Compaq's site! Where else would you get 1) specs for what's in
the laptop; 2) drivers for XP if they exist?
