I wanted to reinstall XP on my laptop because of a Hard
drive problem. I deleted the partition, made a new one (
fdisk, win98se startup disk) and formatted (tried both in
win98se startup disk one and the windows one) but now,
when I install it, windows don't even detect it as a
laptop, windows is installed as a noprmal desktop PC. I
don't have any options for laptops, it always say that
I'm plugged even if I'm using the battery. and so. also,
because of that, I get lot of ressources conflicts.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Laptop computers require specialized hardware drivers only
the laptop manufacturer can provide. Visit the support
website of the manufacturer of your laptop computer, download
and install all the available Windows XP compatible drivers.
