Hi,

I installed WinXP on a secondary hard drive on my machine
so I could boot it up on the other drive. The problem is
that I want to use my primary C drive as the boot drive,
but the OS selection screen when I get into the windows
boot up gives two choices, by C drive and F drive.
Unfortunately the F drive is the default and I don't want
it to be.

How to I make the C drive the default? And if that is
not possible, how can I remove WinXP from my F drive. I
have an Asus P4t533 motherboard. IN the bios I have
selected my C drive as the primary startup and disabled
other startup options. Not sure why the F drive shows up
as a choice.

Thanks.

Todd

-Right Click on my computer and select propeties.
-Click on the advanced tab.
-Click on the settings button under the startup and
recovery section.
-You then have the option to edit the default operating
system used for startup.

Hope that helps.

Normally, if you select the C drive and boot it, then the default is
changed to the C drive. You can change the default using msconfig.exe
and the boot.ini tab. Select an entry and click the default button.
