Last night after contacting Toshiba and them deciding to collect my laptop
under warranty as they said there was obviously a problem with my hard
drive. Only having 13GB left of a 40GB hard drive, I decided I would run the
Recovery Discs to format my hard drive before it went off to Toshiba. To my
delight after doing that and re-installing all the software (apart
formOfficeXP which I hope to do shortly) the hard drive is perfoming
normally. It shows I have 33.3GB unused space on my hard drive.
When I re-install XP Office do I have to re-activate it again?

Hi Lynn

After a reformat you will have to re-activate any MS software that calls for
it. You shouldn't have a problem - activate Office as you did the 1st time.
