xp oem clean install

my hard disk crash. i have to buy a new hard disk. ill be using the same peripherals except the new hard disk. will i be required to activate the windows xp again ?

Yes, since there will be no record on your computer of activation with
the new hard drive and Windows installation.
Worst case is a 5 minute call to Microsoft.
