Hi All,

I have a 80 GB 7200 RPM HDD on My XP + SP2 System.

I have Partitions of 15 GB each. Currently I have FAT 32 File System.

1) If I will format My C: with NTFS, and keep the remaining partitions as it
is - FAT32, file system and reinstall XP DO I get Performance Bost?

2) If I will Repartition My HDD with All Partitions with NTFS - Then Shall I
Get More Performance then the Step 1?

Thanks for any Suggestions

I don't think you will see a significant performance difference whatever you
do. My suggestion - get rid of the partitions, convert the drive to one
NTFS partition. If you want another drive install a second hard drive.
This is much better and provides backup also.
