Xp not letting me activate it

For the past 4 days since i have formatted my computer. Windows will NOT let
me activate it at all. I have the Key for windows. I have everything legal
not is copied or anything. How can i reslove this issue
 
Choose for ' activating by telephone ' ... dial the number for your country
( the program will show you ) and talk to microsoft .... you'll be done in
a few minutes ....

I have done it by phone and they did jack about my problem and i dont know
what 2 do next i am at whits end
 
You need to give us more details than "NOT let me activate" and "did jack".
Do you get any error meassages? Are you connected to the Internet? What
exactly did the phone rep say? There are many possible reasons for your
problem. Without more information all anyone can do is guess.

What does "they did jack about my problem" mean? Critical
information is not being conveyed here.
 
sorry all... i am still new at this. They ( microsoft ) told me to call this
other 800 number that they gave me. and i called and i gave them my ID # and
they told me that they couldnt do nothing so they sent me to another
department and to another department and finally i said to heck with this. i
am NOT getting no error messages at all everything is working fine. I just
put in the CD key that game with the book and the cd in the box and i have
tired everything i could think of.... can someone PLEASE help me

What happens when you try? What specific error messages do you get?
What do your system event logs report? What specific troubleshooting
steps have you already taken, and what were the results of each?
