XP Network Bridge and Jumbo Frames?

I would like to know if the XP network bridge feature can be used to
bridge a jumbo frame GigE network interface to a non-jumbo frame
network interface.

In other words, can two network interfaces in a bridge have different
MTUs (e.g. 1518 on one side, 9000 on the other), and will the network
bridge know how to properly fragment packets from the jumbo side to
the non-jumbo side?
 
The bridge should automatically fragment the packet when it see the lower
MTU.
