XP Log on

Hi, hope someone can help

i have just set up a laptop with Win XP Pro with a single user. The bootup
came through the Windows Welcome screen and stright to the desktop.
I had to temporarily connect to our Domain, and although i have now removed
this connect and reverted back to the Workgroup, the user now gets a formal
log on screen asking for his name and password.

Can someone tell me how to get rid of this and revert back to the usual, non
network startup?
