my computer has for a while now been resetting every few hours for no reason.
recently, however, when it resets it will only get so far through the
loading of windows before it resets again, and again, and again. after a
while it gives a message 'windows did not start successfully, do you want to
start it normally or do you want to restart it using your most recent setting
that worked'. which ever i choose it still resets. since this has started i
have only managed to log onto windows once, where the computer did not reset
its for a few hours, but now it is reseting durning set up again. any
answers??

Classic symptoms of overheating shutdown

Hve you installed any hardware recently especially Video Cards which
generate a lot of heat?

Are all your fans going? Is it clogged up with dust and crap, have you
moved it to a hotter location?

Overheating crashes depend on the stress your processor is running
under and the airflow / ambient temperature I have one that merely
leaving one side of the case off causes an overheat crash within
minutes, others will run forever with no airflow to speak of.
