When I logon to windows xp professional as either myself
on the domain or the local admin, the system begins to
logon and then automatically restarts. If I restart in
safe mode, it does not occur. No new software or hardware
was added prior to this problem. I was printing multiple
copies of a powerpoint to my local printer. I went away
for 30 minutes and came back and the system was rebooted.
I logged on and it rebooted. I cannot get it to stop auto
rebooting....

anyone seen this??? Help???

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the posting. As you indicated the computer often reboot
itself.

Based on your description and our experience, the issue can be caused by
Easy CD Creator and Logitech Cordless Mouse. Regarding this issue, we are

---------------

The problem can be caused by the Roxio Easy CD Creator.

If you are using old Easy CD Creator, this will cause the system to reboot.
You may need to contact Roxio to purchase the latest Easy CD Creator 5.x
platinum for Windows XP.

A free updater for Windows XP will be available soon. Please visit their
web site and sign to get the update. We can access it at:

Suggestion two:

----------------------

The problem can be caused by Logitech Cordless Mouse.

Please go to Logitech web site to download and install the latest XP
compatible driver for your Logitech device:

http://www.logitech.com/cf/support/mousefiles_wxp.cfm

Suggestion three:

----------------

If the above suggestions do not fit your condition, please perform the
steps below to disable ¡°Automatically Restart¡± to resolve the issue.

Right click My Computer, click Properties, Advanced
Under the Startup and Recovery section, click Settings, uncheck ¡
°Automatically Restart¡± box, click OK.

Hope the above information and suggestion helps and answers your question.
