My XP home edition has been fine till a couple of days ago and now
every few minutes of no activity, instead of the screen saver coming
up, it logs me off back to the log in screen and I have to type in my
password again. I am the only user.
Everything is still running as I left it but it's the
inconvenience.....???
Any help would be nice
thanks
Geoff

Usually, this occurs, after you resume from a screen saver, the welcome
screen is displayed, to get rid of that, right-click an empty area on your
desktop and click Properties. On the Screen Saver tab, uncheck the annoying
option and click OK.

Hi Geoff,

It does not log you off, but just displays the Welcome Screen
