XP is always downloading somthing

My XP pro is always downloading somthing... And the only way to stop
this is to shut down computer or to turn off my cabel modem... nothing
helps... even firewall... I have tried "Sygate pro" and "ZoneAlarm", I
block All traffic but downloading keeps going. Well I scaned all hdd
with NAV2004 but found nothing. And this is not some update ;] cozz I
turned off ALL of them (I think so)
Anyone can help me please. :)
 
How exactly are you determining that it is always downloading something?
Does it do this if you start the machine in Safe Mode with Networking
support?

well, my cabel modem activity bulb is blinking and of course I cheked
traffic with "DU matere", "Sygate", traffic is 1-5 kb/sec. Yes, even
in the safe mode with network suport, it keeps downloading. But
downloading don't decreases HDD space.
