xp installation

im installing windows xp when i encountered this error. it is kernel_stack_inpage_error. what is the best way to fix this problem.
 
Jaypee, remove or disconnect everything you don't need for the Install.
Use the Primary IDE Channel for the hard drive
and the Secondary for the cdrom drive. Go into the Bios and select
Optimal Settings.
