XP installation network

when installing XP home the install/setup program hangs on "installing network" on 32 mins,
but without actually crashing. i dont have a network card. have tried removing all PCI cards
but to no avail. i have a new new hard drive, yet it did the saemthing on the previous one.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!

Is there perhaps a network card or modem integrated onto your
motherboard? If so, you might try disabling them in the motherboard's
BIOS and restarting the installation.
