Hi all,
yesterday i bought myself a new computer which i had to assemble... After
many times of swearing (because it is my first time) it worked but now the
hard disk seems to be giving problems.
I have bought myself a Maxtor Diamondplus 9 SATA 120 GB and set it up with
the SATA connection on my mobo (MSI K7). During the installation of Windows
XP Professional I press F6 to load an SCSI Device and I load the drivers of
the Fasttrack controller from my A:\ drive.
Everything seems to be ok, xp prepares the installation etc etc but before
it needs the first reboot an error is shown, namely that the drivers that I
previously loaded from the A:\ drive cannot be found! :s I keep inserting
the Manufacturer Diskette and try to load them again but it doesn't work.
I'm desparate, can anybody help me?
Thomas from Belgium.
