On attempting to install XP Home Edition over my Windows
95, I get an error message that prevents the install from
continuing. The error message is:

The file C:\WINDOWS\WINNT32\WINNT32A.DLL could not be
loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue.

Windows 95 does not have such a file. How do I proceed to
install XP?

Greetings --

It's not technically possible to upgrade from Win95 to WinXP;
Win95 is too old. You'll have to format the hard drive and perform a
clean installation of WinXP.
