xp install

Just did a full install of XP home edition. Previously had upgrade versions installed. During reboot, the system no longer recognizes the CDRW. also does not see my wireless card. Isnt xp supposed to be full plug and play. The system recognized these items before. Yea, I know, show have left well enough alone...too late now. Any suggestions?
 
Did you install the SP1 update for XP? You probably have to reinstall
the XP drivers for the Wireless card. If the CDRW doesnt show up in the Bios
check the settings. The IDE channels should be set on Auto.
