XP & HP Photosmart 7150 printer

I have been using HP Photosmart 7150 printer with XP, then
was changing hardware connections and now it won't
recongnize the hardware. I uninstalled and reinstalled
the printer software, XP finds new hardware, then I get a
message saying the hardware could not be installed due to
a missing file. This is very frustrating. Does anyone
have any suggestions, I have tried MANY things. Thanks!
