Had issues trying to get certain software installed. It kinda caused an
issues so I went with a last restore point. My Problem is, I never set a
user password, never never... Now it asks for a password. Is there a way I
can go back to the Restore Point that worked - well so, so. At least I can
log in.

If all fails, I need to know the step by step instructions on how to format
the HD drive, and to re-install everything back in. Lets treat it like if
the hard drive crashed and got a new hard drive...

Thanks,

Mark

I wish it was that easy. I pressed enter and even clicked on the green
arrow, in both cases a popup message window comes up that says "Did you
forget your password, try again" Something to that effect. I don't know
why it's looking for a password when none was ever set. Even in Safe Mode
is asking for the Administrator password.

Hack the password/change it.

Pay attention to the "Password Recovery Tools" section. "Petter
Nordahl-Hagen's Offline NT Password & Registry Editor" is a good one.
