I have recently done a Windows Update to an XP Home system
that belongs to a network. Guest Account is off. Changed
how users logon, "Show Welcome Screen." This machine never
ever used to have a password to logon (single-user
machine/no other profiles.)
However, after a recent update (can't figure out which one
but it was a recent large one) the Classic logon window
comes up at Startup and requests that users password.
Clicking OK without entering a password allows Desktop to
come up, but when starting all over, shutting down and
then turning machine back on, same process occurs.
What am I missing to shut this option off?
