I have XP home edition, do I need to upgrade to XP Professional to run ASP? Also, DO I have to buy the upgrade edition or are there some downloads that would allow me to run ASP without upgrading fully to the Professional edition?

To use IIS, you need to be running Professional.

You can use something like Apache with other add-ons to run ASP if you wish.

There is no upgrade to XP Home, you would have to purchase the Full Version.

You could purchase the Windows XP Professional Upgrade Edition to save
money.
