I just purchased Xp home upgrade, but before I open it I
would like to know if I can use this to upgrade my Windows
2000 operating sytem to Xp? The product info says it can
be used for Windows 98 and Me only. Would I need to
purchase the full version to upgrade my Windows 2000?
Thanks, Aaron

Aaron;
Windows XP Home is not in the upgrade path for Windows 2000, you need
Windows XP Pro upgrade to upgrade Windows 2000

Andrew;
Where did you get that idea?
It will NOT work.
All versions of Windows XP are 2002 (excluding Beta, RC etc which are
all expired)

Windows 2000 any version can not be upgraded to Windows XP Home any
version.

So long as it list version 2002 on the upgrde front cover,it will
work fine.

No, you can't. Win2K can be upgraded to WinXP Pro, but not to
WinXP Home. That would be why Win2K wasn't listed as a qualifying
product on the box.
