Hello there.

I just want to upgrade a machine with XP home OEM Sp1 fully patched with the
latest hotfixes
to XP professional (multi-user license).
The XP pro CD does not have the integrated service pack1 and the hotfixes.

May I have any problem during the upgrade procedure due to the non-service
pack 1 XP pro CD?

Thanks in advance
S.

Microsoft does not support upgrading XP Home w/SP1
using a non-SP1 version of XP Pro. You'll need to make
an image of XP Pro with SP1 slipstreamed and use it to
upgrade over XP Home w/SP1.

Slipstreaming Windows XP Service Pack 1 and Create Bootable CD

Carey,
I've build the updated bootable CD, and the upgrade completed without
problems.

Thanks for your support
S.
