Ok well here is another thing to add to my list, I need to get a new operating system because now I have XP Pro but I can't get any of the service packs and it is really buggy. So I am wondering whether I should get XP Home or XP Pro. What I mainly do on the computer

1. Play games(Everquest mostly
2. Listen to Music + Chat + Surf we
3. Occasional Photoshop(and things like it

So out of that stuff which is the main things I do on the computer(besides stuff for school) what would be a better buy for me

Thanks

You cannot directly install XP Home over XP Pro.
You'll have to start from scratch by deleting the XP Pro
partition, create a new partition, format the partition
(preferably NTFS) and install XP Home "clean".

If you have a bootleg version and want to keep your current configuration,
get a Full retail version of XP Pro. Since you are a student, you qualify
for academic pricing. Check the campus book store or the internet for
Academic versions.
