Hi. Can you install a full version of XP Home on two
PC's that are in the same house? Thanks, Craig.

Sure, you can install XP Home on two PCs that are in the
same house. All it takes is two individual Product Keys!

You can install one (1) copy of Windows XP on one (1) computer.
A second installation requires a second license (Product Key).

In other words, you need an individual license (Product Key) for
each installation of Windows XP on a different computer. That
means you need to purchase two (2) licenses (Product Keys) so
you can install Windows XP on your two (2) computers.

Go to Start > Run and type: WINVER , and hit enter.
Then click on "End-User License Agreement" for clarification.

You can also open XP's "Help and Support" and type: EULA
and hit enter. Click on "Questions and answers about the EULA".

Craig;
No, one license, one computer, the way it has always been with all
consumer Microsoft OSs since at least Windows 95.
If you want Windows XP on 2 computers, you need to buy 2 copies.

It does not matter who uses the computers, if they are hone or
business, networked or not.

Read your EULA for more details.

Greetings --

No, of course not.

As it has *always* been with *all* Microsoft operating systems,
it's necessary (to be in compliance with both the EULA, if not
technically) to purchase one WinXP license for each computer on which
it is installed. The only way in which WinXP licensing differs from
that of earlier versions of Windows is that Microsoft has finally
added a copy protection and anti-theft mechanism, Product Activation,
to prevent (or at least make more difficult) multiple installations
using a single license.
