How can I install XP Home on a USB external drive when it is already
installed on my main C Drive? Is this possible? Reason is that I have an
app that I need to get off of my C because it is consuming too much space and
it will not run if it's data is not on the same drive as the operational
system.
Thanks

Windows XP can only be installed on an internal
drive and not an external drive. I recommend you
consider upgrading to a larger hard drive.

You can't. *NO* Microsoft operating system is designed to operate in
such a manner.

Is this possible?

No.

Sounds like an awfully unlikely scenario, but I suppose it's possible
that an application could be so poorly designed, if the developers
really, really tried. This leaves you with two choices:

1) Replace the application with one that's been properly designed.

2) Replace the hard drive with a larger one.

Check out ntfslink. It enables you to use links, as if they were actual
folders, so you can position your data elsewhere.

Yes. But it will take some work.

Don't listen to this idiot. Check in your pc's bios to see if you can set
it to boot from a usb device.

BTW Where is the law enforcement you promised?

Irrelevant. The OS isn't designed to be installed on an external
device, BIOS settings notwithstanding. Rather than just calling names,
why don't you invest a little energy in learning something about computers?
