I networked two XP home computers through a Linksys hub,
sharing an ADSL Internet connection, using the Network
Setup Wizard. The wizard completes the process fine (for
both the host connection and the gateway connection). It
setup default file and printer sharing, and uses TCP/IP.
I can connect to the Internet through either PC without a
problem.

However, when I go to My Network Places on either PC,
neither PC or Shared Documents folder is shown. I can't
access either PC from the other (I even setup the drive on
the client as a shared drive).

When I click on the Microsoft Windows Network 'folder' on
the host PC, I can see the network (used defalut name
MSHome), but when I click on the network, it says it "is
not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource.. The list of servers for this workgroup
is currently unavailable." On the client, I can't see the
network at all, although the network connection is good.

If I do a search on the host for another computer, I can
find the client and access the shared folders, as well as
the drive. With the same search on the client, looking
for the host, I come up empty.

When I try to share the printer from the host, I get this
error: "Printer settings could not be saved. Operation
could not be completed."

I've tried to rerun the wizard, with no success. Any
ideas?

Try to disable any and all firewalls on both machines for
now... and make sure that you have a common user
account/password on both machines with sufficient rights
to access and open the shared files.
