As a security measure I set a password for the guest account (net user
password). Now every time I restart my laptop and access my shared desktop
hard drive it asks for the password. When I type it in I have access but how
do I type it in once and have it so when I restart the computer I have access
to the drive but don't have to type in the password again?

The XP Home network client won't retain passwords - that's a token feature in XP
Pro. You'll have to upgrade to XP Pro.

Crap. Thanks for the reply Chuck.
