If you right click the start button...do you get the "explore" option

Try this:
1. Right click on the desktop.
2. Now click on New
3. Now click on shortcut.
4. In the "Create Shortcut Dialog box" type or copy this into the "Type the
location of the item:

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe

5. Now click Next.
6. Now type in a name for this shortcut. (Windows Explorer)
7. Now click Finish.

Hope this Helps!

to get windows explorer you can right click the start menu and click
explore, press control-alt-delete, and in the task manager click on
file, run, and type explorer, if you want to create a new explorer
shortcut on your desktop right click an empty space on your desktop,
choose new, shortcut, in the shortcut location type explorer and click
next.

The icon may be gone from your desktop, but Windows Explorer is not gone
from your system. It's an essential part of Windows and Windows can't run
without it.

You can get to Windows Explorer in several ways. One easy way is by holding
down the Windows key, and pressing E.
