XP Home Edition how to limit user access to programs

Hello all,

I'm attempting to learn how to configure XP Home Edition to limit user
access to programs. I've read where people say to edit the registry to
do this, but don't explain how. Can anyone give me an example of how
to do this?

Home is lacking in the features that make this easy.

You might want to take a look at The Windows XP Security Console that MVP Doug Knox created specifically for this type of problem. Makes it very easy to do.
