XP Home CD

When I purchased my HP Pavilion I did not get the cd for
XP,
instead the backup of all the software installed on the PC
was in a seperate partition, this is not good if I want to
re install due to HD problem. How do I get a copy of the
CD.

contact hp they may send you restore recovery cds.you

didnt get a retail windows install so dont think you can
call microsoft for help.

if you want retail cd you must go buy a copy.

Contact HP customer service and have your credit card ready. $$$
