My friend's PC displays this error message upon login. "The system cannot
log you on due to the following error. The specified domain does not exist
or cannot be conacted. Contact your administrator." I am not able to log
into Windows because of this error. I know that XP Home cannot join a
domain, so this is strange. I thought I could use the Recovery Console to
get past the log-in problem, but then I do not know how to get rid of this
error. Any takers? Thanks.
