Xp home and Pro

Can someone tell me how I can network xp home and xp pro? I had both
computers join home working group but xp pro and xp home can not see
each other or talk to each other.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

Yes they are connected using the router. Yes I did disable the firewall.

Please advise. Appreciate your response.
 
Do they both connect to the internet?

If they don't, it could be a router problem.

Run the Network Setup Wizard on each computer. If the Wizard detects
the router's shared Internet connection, tell it to use that.
Otherwise, tell the Wizard that the computer connects to the Internet
through a residential gateway. Tell the Wizard to enable File and
Printer Sharing.
