XP Home and DNS

Okay Local Services have got me me part of domain. They Local Services were
customizing my system of Windows XP Home. Everything was fine for about a
week. Now Services have stopped, unable to access my hard drive. No System
Tools. Its like a stripped down version. I realize some of the Services
may have changed status. BIG problem how do I get back. And why did they
sign me up as a domain in the first place???
 
Hi, Kevin - I'm thoroughly confused. XP Home can't join a domain. And I
don't know what was done to your computer...you're going to have to provide
a lot more detail.

huh?
You were never a "Member of a Domain" with Windows XP Home.
That's an impossibility.

Also, that would not have anything to do with you being unable to access
your local hard drive.

How did the problem start? What was the first thing you noticed? What do
you want to do/fix?
