2 questions:
1. How do I get "Computers Near Me" to show up in Windows
Explorer. I'm using XP Pro and want to be able to see
another computer running W2K on my network. I can see the
XP box from the W2K box but not vice-versa. I am in the
same Domain on both systems.
2. Also, when I click on the Microsoft Windows Network I
see the other computer (running W2K) but it asks for a
username and password from me to get into it. I never had
to do that when both machines were running W2K. How do I
bypass this?
So how do I get:
1. Computers Near Me to show up as a folder? (Both
computers are on the same LAN in the same Domain), and
2. How do I eliminate the username and password for a
W2K machine, on the same LAN and Domain when I'm in MS
Windows Network?
Thanks
