Yes, I live in Germany, I bought my laptop from a US PX there and I use a German GPRS provider (02). But all my languages are set for English. Why do I get German MSN, Google, Hotmail? How can I change it? Danke.

Maybe when you entered your information you said you live
in Germany and so it is providing you with the local
content specific to you?
Maybe you are going to *.de sites?
Plus your time zone settings?
Sorry i couldnt be much help
Tschus!

I have this issue when using various anon proxy servers where the IP address is from a non-US
IP block. I believe these services base their material presentation first on the requesting IP, then
whatever the User/cookie prefs are; if present these usually override. You may want to check
your preferences on Google, MSN, etc.

Google prefs:

Have you tried going into Control Panel/Regional and Language Options and
setting your location to US or UK?
