Hi folks
this question could of been asked before, so forgive me for asking again... :o

If I have a third party firewall (free version), should I still enable the XP firewall?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Greetings --

No, you shouldn't run both firewalls. Running two or more
software firewalls simultaneously is unnecessary and can sometimes
cause conflicts, possibly negating the protection of both. In any
event, having two firewalls running simultaneously is most certainly
an unnecessary drain on system resources.

There is no benefit of using two different firewalls.
Conflicts and error messages could occur. If using
a third-party firewall, disable XP's firewall.
