I tried this on 2 different computers with XP Pro
and on one XP Home edition. All have SP1 and all latest
security upgrades installed (as of 2003/08/24):
I attempt to find a file, that I know exists on a CD (for
example myFile.txt).
The windows search finds it and displays in the "inFolder"
column:
C:\Documents and Settings\<myUserId>\Local
Settings\Application Data\Micorosoft\CD Burining\<...>
where <...> represents the folder on the CD where the file
is found. Well, C: is not my CD drive, and "Documents and
Settings" folder is not on my CD.
Also note bunch of hidden system folders in the displayed
directory name.
I hope Microsoft support is reading this Newsgroup and
will address this bug.
Is there a way to submit a bug to Microsoft?
