XP fax monitor

Had problems with fax monitor popping up with incoming
and outgoing faxes.Checked volume control to appear in
taskbar and fax monitor will popup now. Problem is I have
to do this everytime I boot up. Any ideas? I run Norton
anti-virus and Zone Alarm firewall. Disabled both at boot
up but it didn't change anything. THANKS
 
Have you updates to XPSP1?
