XP ERROR

I AM RECEIVING ERROR MESSAGES ABOUT CHECKING LICENCE FOR
MY COMP. I HAVE GATEWAY AND ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS PASS
THE BUCK TO MICROSOFT BUT IN THE MEANTIME I HAVE A BRAND
NEW COMP THAT WONT WORK. ANY IDEA HOW TO STOP THIS MESSAGE
 
I got that too on my new Gateway Media Center. When I
called Gateway the first time, they sent me to Microsoft
the first time. Microsoft wanted to charge me to help me
get to where I needed to register my license. So I called
Gateway back 2 more times. The first time, they had me
restore. The 2nd time they had me put the recovery disk
in to reinstall windows. It seemed like it had started
to work and when it was turned off and turned back on it
is now back to where it originally started, stuck with
errors on the licenses and application errors. It won't
even load up the desktop any longer.
Call Gateway back. I am going to contact them again too.
Hopefully with enough of us calling, this will get
resolved. If they don't, it's getting sent back for a
full refund!
 
I am afraid this is not just a gateway problem. My
computer is an Inteva that I have had error free for
several years. I am have the exact same problem that just
started about two weeks ago.

No one seems to be able to give me any solution. Yes I
have also done a reinstall/recovery, but now my error
message is "no paging file,or paging file is to small". I
cannot even og in to XP even though it boots up to the
user login screen.

This is a Microsoft problem, it seems atypical that
Microsoft is not responding without trying to charge an
incredible fee.
 
I AGREE GATEWAY TECH SERVICE SUCKS EVERY TIME I CALL I
GET A DIFFERENT PERSON TELLING ME TO DO SOMETHING
DIFFERENT...I CANT GET ANYWHERE & THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT
HAPPENS IT WORKS FINE TILL YOU TURN IT OFF AND BACK ON. I
AM VERY UPSET WITH GATEWAY AND I AM GOING TO REPORT THEM
TO BBB
 
If it is truly that new, demand your money back.
