I have a XP S.O. When It starts up, appears the windows xp logo, and next,
it reboots automatically. I tried
to repair the installation with the original CD, but It fails too. One day I
tried to stop the pc in the same
point wich it reboots, and I see the blue screen with an error with code
0x0000008e. I searched
in microsoft site about this error, and the says that is problem of ram
memory. I changed the ram
memory with a new module and it fails too.

What can I do?. Thanks a lot.

The error message that you received is used for a number of faults , as many
of XP's worthless error messages are. I you have changed out the ram , you
have eliminated that from the possible causes. Look under Event Viewer and
see if it has recorded more detailed error messages. The elimination process
is the proper troubleshooting procedure. Change video driver , remove
software one by one and your chances are good that you will find the
culprit. Good Luck . JJ
