I recently installed a new MB and an additional HD for a RAID O. WinXP Pro
Setup gave an error message that said it could not find a hard drive
installed. "check connection..etc". The system shows the SATA Raid O
installed. Any suggestions as to what is happening?

When you added these new hardware , did you by chance perform a repair
installment of the OS ? Or even a reformat ?

Does your controller need you to use the F6 method of setup - in other
words - needs a driver installed for Windows XP to recognize the drive(s)
hooked to it?

Assuming you instigated a repair installation of winxp after changing the
mobo, including useing the F6 option to install sata/raid drivers
You also installed the mobo chipset and any other drivers?
Both sata disks were set to master?
After all the above and a reboot
You entered the raid utility, on boot up, both drives were detected?
You then built the array?

You are aware that raid 0 has no redundancy?
